Projects

The dutch community of astroparticle physics is presently involved in a few projects:

• ANTARES (Astronomy with a Neutrino Telescope and Abyss environmental RESearch)
• HiSPARC (High School Project on Astrophysics Research with Cosmics)
• KM3NeT (KM³ Neutrino Telescope)
• LOFAR (Low Frequency Array)
• LOPES (LOFAR Prototype Station)
• Pierre Auger Cosmic Ray Observatory

Moreover, a number of pilot projects is being carried out or under study:

• CTA (Cherenkov Telescope Array)
• MiniGRAIL (Gravitational Radiation Antenna In Leiden)

and contacts exist with several other projects:

• AMANDA/IceCube (Antarctic Muon And Neutrino Detector Array)
• KATRIN (Karlsruhe Tritium Neutrino Experiment)
