10th National Astroparticle Physics Symposium
March 5, 2007, Astronomical Institute `Anton Pannekoek'
The 'March 5th event' is famous in high-energy astrophysics as one of
the most energetic ever. On its 29th birthday, we will celebrate that
Astroparticle Physics in the Netherlands is coming of age, thanks to
the efforts of a vibrant community of researchers that work in it. The
theme of our jubilee 10th symposium will be 'Multi-Messenger Astronomy',
in which we will review the progress in our detection of all the
messengers we receive from extreme astrophysical objects, and our progress
in understanding those extreme objects. Of course we shall end with a
festive toast to our field and its future.
